Job Description

  • Quality Assurance (QA) & IMS Support 

  • Support implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) 

  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures, standards, and operational requirements 

  • Conduct QA inspections and verify adherence to approved procedures and specifications 

  • Maintain quality records, reports, and document control in line with company standards 

  • Support internal audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) 

  • Assist in identifying process improvements and non-conformance tracking 


    Environmental Management & Compliance 

  • Support compliance with Environmental Permit conditions, monitoring, and reporting requirements 

  • Assist in collecting environmental data (emissions, waste, water discharge) 

  • Support monitoring of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) data and reporting 

  • Report environmental deviations, incidents, and abnormal conditions 

  • Maintain environmental records and compliance documentation 

  • Assist during environmental audits and inspections 


    HSE Management & Risk Control 

  • Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with HSE procedures and site rules 

  • Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, and compliance checks 

  • Verify implementation of risk assessments (RA, MS, JSA) 

  • Monitor compliance with PTW and LOTO systems 

  • Participate in incident investigations and support root cause analysis 

  • Promote safe work practices and hazard awareness on site 


    Operations Support & Site Compliance 

  • Conduct daily site walkdowns to monitor QA and HSE compliance 

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to procedures 

  • Support shutdown and maintenance activities from QA & HSE perspective 

  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure safe and compliant execution 


    Monitoring, Reporting & Performance 

  • Maintain QA and HSE logs, inspection reports, and records 

  • Record and report non-conformances, incidents, and observations 

  • Support tracking of QA and HSE KPIs and performance indicators 

  • Assist in identifying trends and improvement actions 


    Training & Awareness 

  • Support delivery of QA/HSE inductions and toolbox talks 

  • Promote awareness of quality standards, safety practices, and environmental compliance 

  • Assist in tracking workforce training and competency requirements 


    External Coordination Support 

  • Support HSEQ Manager during audits, inspections, and regulatory visits 

  • Liaise with contractors on QA and HSE compliance requirements 

  • Assist in ensuring contractor adherence to site standards 

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Experience & Software Competencies  

  • Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in Waste-to-Energy (WTE), power generation, construction, or industrial environments 

  • Basic knowledge of environmental compliance, emissions monitoring, and regulatory requirements 

  • Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and standards 

  • Understanding of risk assessment methods (RA, MS, JSA) 

  • Proficient or familiar with systems used for HSE monitoring, reporting, and compliance, for example;  


  • HSEQ / Safety Systems: Intelex, Enablon, ETQ Reliance, or similar  

  • Environmental Monitoring: EMS platforms, CEMS interfaces, SCADA/DCS dashboards  

  • Document & Reporting Tools: SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel, Word  

  • Incident & Risk Tracking: EHS systems or reporting tools 

  • HSEQ / Safety Systems: Intelex, Enablon, ETQ Reliance, or similar  

  • Environmental Monitoring: EMS platforms, CEMS interfaces, SCADA/DCS dashboards
